Our Approach

Planning a wedding can be an arduous chore, which can take well over a year to accomplish. Meticulous care is given to selecting a caterer, deciding on the perfect wedding gown, hiring entertainment for your guests. So much attention is paid to the littlest details to insure that your dream wedding be fulfilled. Then, it's all over in just a few hours.

At this point, what's left?

If you had the choice of looking at your grandparent's wedding photos or video, which would you choose? Video is the only way to revisit the combined sights and sounds of your special occasion, and share it with friends and family members who weren't there.

As the wedding couple, at best, you'll remember only 25% of what you experience on your wedding day; and since you'll be busy talking to your guests and mingling, you'll miss most of what's going on. But, that's okay, if you've got a professional videographer documenting your event. It is therefore our desire at It Takes Two Productions to insure that your most cherished recollections be presented to you on a video with crystal clear imagery and sound, in an elegant style that reflects your own unique taste.

At It Takes Two Productions, we pride ourselves on our unobtrusiveness. The Bride and Groom are the stars of the day. We do not create any action, we are simply there to document your wedding. No events will be staged, no photo opportunities created. We use professional 3-chip digital cameras that create phenomenal images. During your reception, we are entirely hand-held. There will not be a tripod in the middle of the dance floor for your guests to bang into; and there won't be interfering videographers, running from table to table to interview every guest at your party. Our goal is to be practically invisible -- and at the same time, capture the moments that shape a lifetime. One of our greatest compliments from brides is that they hardly remember seeing us.

We don't use a cookie-cutter approach to creating videos; and therefore, no two videos ever look the same. Jim Elliott, President of It Takes Two Productions, will get to know you, and discover what your desires are in terms of your video coverage. He will assist you in selecting a package that is within your budget and within your vision. It Takes Two Productions prides itself on the relationship it builds with its Brides and Grooms.

Our videographers are both technicians and artists, always looking for the best shot, shooting plenty of video to allow our editor to assemble these images in an exciting and romantic style. The focus of the wedding video is on the love expressed between the Bride and Groom. Hours are spent on the editing process to make sure each detail is not overlooked.

If our vision of wedding videography meets with your expectations please e-mail or phone us for information about our packages and availability.

Our Love Stories may be part of your wedding package, or a stand-alone presentation for a Prenuptial or Groom's Dinner or at your Reception.

Why will you love a wedding video produced by us?

It's simple: you can feel it. Yes, our visuals are razor sharp! Yes, our sound is crystal clear! Yes, our effects and editing are marvelous! But there's more to it than that -- our videos have heart!

Do you really need a video?

Again, given a choice, would you watch your grandparent's wedding video, or flip through a photo album?

There is absolutely no better way to preserve the memories of your special day. We don't merely point a camera and document events. We shoot angles and events you won't even notice. We shoot from the perspective of a guest, watching you do things you'll forget about by the end of your honeymoon. This creates a living, lasting album that will provide memories and entertainment for generations. Combine this with the sound that video simultaneously records with the pictures, and you've got a living tribute to the once-in-a-lifetime event that you worked so hard to put together.
