Our Engagmeent Photography is your first "official" pictures together as an engaged couple. Most of the time, your wedding photographer also shoots your Engagement Portraits, but not always. Our approach to Engagement Photography is very simple.
What do you want? And what best will capture the personality of you and your fiancee? Walking together hand in hand outdoors, cuddling in a field of flowers or perhaps more artistic engagement photos taken in the studio - it's really about capturing the chemistry of you the couple.
What is our approach to Engagement Photography?
First, we want to know the personality of you as a couple and what is meaningful to you. Engagement Photos are some of the most fun to take as Photographers, because newly engaged couples are so excited and in love. Every couple has their own characteristics, some play up to the camera, are spontaneous, need little direction and know exactly where and how they want their Engagement Portraits taken. Others appreciate some guiding direction on how to pose naturally, creative ideas for locations and in general, trust us to get the right shots. We're flexible and know when to make suggestions and when just to listen. We approach the shoot as a very collaborative creative process.
How many Engagement prints? What are our choices?
Most people are familiar with Glossy and Matte print finishes. Engagement print sizes range from 4" x 6" up to 20" x 30". Since we are Digital Photographers, every image we shoot can be output to your choice of Color, Black and White or Sepia. As part of our Wedding Packages, we typically include a signing portrait to display at your wedding reception. You can choose what suits you best depending on the size of the frames you plan on using. Additional reprints are available for family members and friends or for those who we are only shooting their Engagement Photography.
