Not to be confused with home video, Your Family History Video is a serious, professional TV-style show using broadcast-quality equipment, Your Family History Video will be as visually stunning as you’d expect to see on television.

Your Family History Video can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Your documentary can be as long or as short as you would like. Any information can be included or excluded. You are the Executive Producer, so you have editorial control of content.

Your Family History Video is a TV-style documentary that will honor and entertain your family and friends for generations to come. The closest example are the biographies you can see each day on A&E and the Biography Channel.

Your Family History Video can honor an individual, an anniversary couple or an entire family. Your story will be told using such elements as:

This project will certainly provide some work on your part; but most people have a good time with it. This may be the first time you’ve looked at your old photos and videos in many years.

Pricing

Pricing is simple. We charge $60 per hour. With preparing the materials and editing them together, this works out to about 1 hour of work per finished minute -- so figure on an average of $60 per completed minute. This price includes up to 20 photos per minute, selected video clips and a 1-hour interview session. Additional costs include:

  • $60 per interview at our studio (1-hour maximum per interview)
  • $60 per hour per location outside our studio (2-hour minimum)
  • Additional DVD Copies: $50 per copy
